BMI (body mass index) compares your weight with your height. It is just one number: your surgeon also looks at your health and your goals, and BMI alone does not decide if you can have surgery. Packages are grouped by BMI band.

A Brazilian butt lift uses your own fat, not an implant. Fat taken out by the liposuction is prepared and transferred to the buttocks. Your surgeon decides how much can be transferred.
A BBL uses fat from other areas, like your tummy, back or thighs. Choose a package with one of those, or add one in question 4.
Choose a part of the body, then a package. Everything listed comes included.
A package is a set of areas treated together in one procedure. Choose the one closest to what you want; you can add more areas in question 4.
There is a safety limit per surgery, and the rules vary by state. The usual line for office-based surgery, used in New York Department of Health guidance and by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, is 5 liters of total aspirate (the fat plus the fluid used during liposuction, so the fat itself is less), unless the patient is monitored overnight. Your surgeon decides how much is safe for you. Limits by state ›

Before Your Consultation
Common Questions
Short answers to what patients ask most.
Is Liposuction Right for You?
- It is made for specific pockets of fat that diet and exercise have not shifted.
- It works best when you are near a stable, healthy weight. Keep your weight steady for a month or two before surgery.
- It is not a weight-loss procedure, and it will not tighten significantly loose skin. If loose skin is your main concern, your surgeon may suggest another procedure.
- Every patient completes lab tests and medical clearance before surgery.
Recovery, in Brief
- Expect some swelling, tenderness and possibly bruising in the treated areas in the first days.
- You wear a compression garment, and following its instructions matters for the final contour.
- Hard exercise and heavy lifting wait a few weeks; your surgeon gives you instructions for your case.
- The final contour settles gradually over the following months.
Pairing Liposuction with a BBL
- Liposuction removes stubborn fat; a BBL uses that fat to add shape to the buttocks. It is the most common pairing.
- Combining means one recovery instead of several, but a bigger procedure, so your surgeon weighs it case by case.
Keeping Your Result
- The fat cells removed from the treated areas do not grow back.
- The cells that remain can still grow with a big weight gain, so a steady weight is what holds the result.
Questions to Bring to Your Consultation
- Is liposuction right for my goals, or would something else suit me better?
- Which areas would you treat, and is a focused plan or a full Lipo360 the better fit?
- Can I see results from people with a body like mine?
- What will recovery look like for my job and routine, and when can I exercise again?
- What does each area add to the price, and what is included?
- What aftercare, including the compression garment, will protect my result?
